Let the games begin.
The 2024 Paris Olympics are set to kick off in just a few days on Friday, July 26 on NBC and Peacock, meaning Team USA and more of the biggest sports stars from around the world are about to make their debut at the official kickoff of this year’s Summer Games.
Fans will be treated to a star-studded Opening Ceremony as Kelly Clarkson, NFL legend Peyton Manning and Sunday Night Football announcer Mike Tirico will be hosting the festivities. And viewers should definitely expect a special je nais se quoi like they’ve never experienced before.
"The Opening Ceremony is going to be so different and unique, down the Seine—down the river with the athletes on a boat," Tirico told Jimmy Fallon—who also has special hosting duties during the 2024 Olympics—in March. "So, it’s not the stadium where they walk in. It’ll incorporate Paris."
Plus, Peacock has plenty of special programming to make sure you never miss the Olympics' most talked-about moments, biggest wins and surprising losses.
